Six Rounds of Popular Chess Variants!
Each round will feature a different version of chess. No need to learn'm in advance, we'll teach you on the spot. (Okay, if you insist, details below, for those who can't wait.) Let the hilarity ensue!
Round 1: Shuffle Chess!
Sometimes called Freestyle Chess, or Fischer Random Chess. The pieces on your first rank are scrambled!
Round 2: Duck Chess!
After each move, place the duck on an empty square. Your opponent can't move onto or through that square!
Round 3: Giveaway Chess!
First player to give away all their pieces wins. If there's a capture on the board, you have to capture!
Round 4: Two Move Chess!
White makes one move, and after that, each side makes two moves in a row!
Round 5: Knightmare Chess!
One of many popular variants using special cards that do weird things, like, "on this turn your knights can move like bishops." Each player will get two cards to unleash mayhem.
Round 6: Dice Chess!
1=Pawn, 2=Knight, 3=Bishop, 4=King, 5=Rook, 6=Queen. Roll two dice each turn -- you can only move one of those two pieces!
Six rounds, six different games, six different opponents. Prepare your mind, clear your head, brace your brain and get ready to party!
Don't forget to pre-register! - (not yet open)
